2016 Aria Breakthrough Artist and Triple J Award nominated singer-songwriter Montaigne took to the Corner Hotel stage late last year as part of her national tour in support of her album Glorious Heights. A truely standout vocal performance that was note perfect couldn't be ignored by the audience who cried out for more after each song.
Alexander Jackson and the Triple J Live At The Wireless Team were there yet again to capture the magic.

Melbourne duo Big Scary have been making beautiful music since 2006, giving us ten glorious years of inventive, dreamy and sometimes hypnotic indie pop. Mid way through their tour (October 5th) in support of their latest album, the band stopped by their home town to give the full house all they had.
Alexander Jackson from the Vintage Physics Crew got down and dirty for another date with the Triple J Live AT The Wireless team. What a great show!

So last week, at some point, Hypersleep got some air-time on Triple J (an Australian national broadcaster). What's more it was picked up only two weeks after the EP was released into the world.
The narcissist in us wants to know how our mastering job came out over the airwaves. The Buddhist in us is happy that it even got there. Onwards and upwards!

We've been hard at work helping to put the finishing touches on Todd Proctors new EDM project. Think Bonobo meets Underworld on a tropical island and you'll be in the ballpark.
The music needed to live "outside the box" and have a bit of grit and warmth rinsed through it. So we ran it into some 1/4" tape for phatness, sent that to our API 2500 mix buss compressor for focus and more phatness then shot that out to our Scintillator to put some of the sparkle back into the mixes. And guess what? It worked a bloody treat! Solid, full mixes that leap out of the speakers. Zing!
We'll be putting the finishing touches on these beautiful tunes later this week and, with any luck, they should see the light of day sometime in March. We'll post a link when it's all done and dusted.

“There was one moment in the crash that cut me deeply. For one heartbeat and one tiny sliver of time, I became disconnected entirely. It was, specifically, the moment I impacted with the glass. In that barest heartbeat of a moment, I came face to face with the infinite. I didn’t see a light, or the tunnel or hear any music. Nor did I get a “best-of” montage of my life. Instead, I felt the tip of my nose brush up against the very same fate I had accepted moments before. I looked into a cold, unreflective mirror. It was the dark, silent, dispassionate logic of the end. I realized in that moment that life can be seen as a light switch: “on” or “off”. When the moment passed and I heard the screaming, felt the pain, and tasted my own blood, I was overcome with joy. I was ecstatic to be back amidst all that chaos and horror because it was alive and real. I finally glimpsed the relative importance of all things. The support of our fans, our friends and our families has real meaning to me now. I say that now honestly, without false humility. Thank you. Everyone.”
